A boy who learned how to be a detective by watching his uncle. Most of the cases that happen to come to his uncle were small things like investigating infidelity, but on the rare occasion when a murder case came up, he solved it faster than the police. He reached the point where he was recognized as the SHSL Detective.

Saihara, who stands out for his timid speech, demonstrates superior ability and insight. However, because he only happened to solve the murder cases by chance, he doesn’t believe he deserves the SHSL title. Because of a past experience, he doesn't like looking into others' eyes, which is why he hides his face with his cap.



After Kaede's death, He takes over her role as protagonist for the rest of the game.
