Lilly worked with Michael at the cafe (before it became a maid cafe) when they were both young, his elder he always had a crush on her, little did he know though that she liked him as well.

Lilly is the only unrequited romance of the game, in that the two characters (protagonist and Lilly) had a thing for each other but never did anything about it, so now perhaps this could be a second chance for the two of you when you return to administrate the maid café.

Now she has advanced to a supervisory position which could make things tricky still and a harder romance to complete within the game.
