Saitou Maika

Subaru's junior, Maika is one grade below him, with a bleak aura about her. Because of her introverted, reserved and negative personality, Maika irritates those in her grade and is subjected to their bullying. She first got to know Subaru when he comforted her as she was crying in the school courtyard. From then on, in spite of her introversion and negativity, she became close to Subaru to an extent where she can freely converse with him.
