Belial

The protagonist. His default name is Belial and his default nickname is Bel, but both can be changed at the start of the game.

A young man coming from a closed-off village in order to start his life as an adult in the capital. While he starts as a trainee of the Cleanup Department of Saint Sheol, he got into an arranged marriage with Arne Alternata, the next lead of a powerful mage family, which should promote him to the Magic Department after a week.

Since he came to the temple, Belial has frequent dreams featuring an angel surrounded by gore, blood and guts, who usually comes to rescue him from his nightmare.
