The haughty bishop of the Magic Department, and a very powerful mage. He's the one who invited Belial to join the temple and got him into an arranged marriage with Arne, his niece. This makes him the current lead of the House of Alternata.

Don't let his looks fool you - he actually turned forty-five this year. Erzsebet apparently traded his physical growth for the sake of higher levels of magic, and is notably able to float at will.
