Formerly known as Dmitri Karanikov, the leader of the Russian section of the Mars Colonization project. Also father of Tsunami. He was brainwashed by Shannon into thinking that he needed to give humanity a trial of survival, like the rest of the people in Calamity Monkeys. He possesses the power to transform the earth into lava and control it. His body mostly consists of the lava, and it is through him that it is revealed that the four full-adult Calamity Monkeys still possess the emotions that existed before their manipulation, though those emotions only drive them to more intensely desire to test humanity with trials and tribulations. His love for his daughter, in particular, drives him to this.
