Akabane Chiaki

She has been living there since before the main character became a caretaker. She and her husband have been married for three years and are an ex-Yankee couple.

Chiaki, the wife, works part-time to make a living. She has a sunny and friendly personality. She is a former delinquent, but is now working diligently.

She often has arguments with her husband, who does not have a regular job and is always playing around.

She avoids having children with her husband because she herself grew up in a single mother household and does not want to go through the same thing.

She wishes to make a good living before having children.
