April

April resides in the small town of Foxwoods where she's lived for her entire life. During her teen years, she was best friends with Stacy as the pair shared a very strong bond. After high school graduation, Stacy opted to move to a larger city. April remained in Foxwoods and her parents eventually bought her a small house. From then on, she moved from one menial job to the next while communicating with Stacy less and less, nearly devoid of any social contact outside of work.

Landing a job as a waitress, April was worked exhaustively under her boss, Linda. The long hours and harsh demands of Linda cumulatively cause April to lash out in anger and destructively quit her job. With very little money left and slim prospects, April ponders her uncertain future just as she learns that Stacy, now successful in her life, has come back to town to visit.

With such a large social and financial divide between them, a humble April must tackle the uncomfortable task of reuniting with her former best friend who has blossomed into a celebratory icon. How strong of a bond can they rebuild?
