Redd White runs the company known as Bluecorp, which specializes in obtaining information on people for blackmail purposes. During the DL-6 case, he leaked to the press that the police were secretly using the spirit medium Misty Fey to assist with the investigation, information he received from Marvin Grossberg through bribery. The leak and the outcome of the case tarnished the reputation of the Fey clan and caused Misty to go into hiding; White would use this to blackmail Grossberg.

Mia Fey, Misty's daughter, would later investigate White's activities. White and his secretary, April May, kept tabs on Mia, including through the use of a wiretap. With the wiretap, they listened in on a phone conversation between Mia and her sister Maya, which revealed that the evidence Mia had on White was being stored in a clock shaped like The Thinker that was in Mia's possession. White trespassed into Mia's office to destroy the evidence; he also killed Mia to prevent her from talking about his business practices. White attempted to pin the murder on Maya and later Phoenix Wright, who was representing Maya in court, when Wright suspected him of the murder. However, he was ultimately defeated when Mia, as channelled by Maya, threatened to reveal his blackmail victims in court, forcing him to confess to the murder.
