The only survivor of a major incident that took place in the story’s setting, Beiseki (modelled after the Niigata prefecture), twelve years ago. They have lost sight of the meaning of life ever since their near-death experience in the incident.

Before graduation, they struggle to create memories for the members of the Rose class, their childhood friends from when they went to the Fushizono Kindergarten together.
