It is later revealed that Neo's rather creepy mannersims is just a facade. He uses this as a ploy to scare people away; to keep them from delving too deep into the doppelganger case and causing themselves unnecessary harm. In truth, Neo's just a typical young adult: kind, helpful and a hardcore gamer.

Neo currently works as a police and has been trying to find evidence to prove that the entity called "Doppelganger" is indeed the one behind all these mysterious happenings. Naturally, due to his theory being too far-fetched, none of his colleagues believe him.
