When Sam finds out that Lee Ying tried to falsify evidence in an assassination case involving Jing Ke, he is arrested by Sam.
Jing Ke's brother resents this and attempts to kidnap Lam Lam, which ends in an unsuccessful attempt.
After his release, Jing Ke returns to Song An and, under the orders of Chu Yuk-Gong, together with Cold Blood and Lan Yu, they carry out the Temple Street terrorist attack.
