Saitou Hajime

Former captain of the Shinsengumi's third division. After their defeat in the Battle of Aizu, he joined the Metropolitan Police Department and became commander of the Battoutai, a unit that protects the city. He's loyal to the province of Aizu and his late master, Katamori Matsudaira, and chooses to wield his sword even after the times of samurai have come to an end.
