Shitou Sae

Sae is Subaru's junior by one year in college. After graduation, she followed in his footsteps and landed a job at the same company. She's been head over heels for him since their college days, but before she could confess, their senior-junior relationship blossomed into a close friendship, making it harder for her to express her true feelings. Sae has eyes only for Subaru and has even remained a virgin, saving herself for him.

Despite working at the same company, their relationship stayed platonic. By the time Sae mustered up the courage to confess, Subaru had already begun dating Seina, leaving her nursing a broken heart. Even so, Sae can't let go of her feelings for Subaru and finds herself unable to fall for other men.

Before crossing paths with Subaru in college, Sae had dabbled in love. However, her trusting nature often led her into situations where she felt pressured to get physical, although she never went all the way. Amidst this, she gradually fell for Subaru, who treated her respectfully and saw her for more than just her looks.

When Sae falls in love, she falls hard, often becoming blind to everything else around her. She's the type who would go to the ends of the earth for her beloved. Sae lives in a studio apartment in the same building as Subaru and the gang, in the section designated for single residents.
