Kusuhara Ayaka

- The Generous Onee-sama

Ayaka is the friend of Reika and a "very long time" friend of Satsuki. She is a calm and gentle third-year student. She’s a family-oriented girl who loves reading and cooking. She meets Akihito when he finds an abandoned puppy. Ayaka often reads books in the courtyard, and smiles when Akihito comes to talk to her. She’s supposedly a member of the art club, but she usually doesn’t attend the club’s activities.
Akihito is charmed by her kindness when she brings him a homemade bento.
However, even Akihito gets perplexed when she gets overly sensitive about family matters and paintings.

Reika often compares the relationship between Satsuki and Ayaka as being similar to that between a legal guardian and his adopted child.

Ayaka is very assertive with Akihito, she's pretty "touchy" with him; she often takes his hand, resting against his shoulder or letting him rest on her thighs. She also invites him to walk with Orange (her dog) and also invites him to eat at her place.

Ayaka has many worries in her life: she suffers from a heart disease that will be fatal to her if she doesn't get surgery (who itself has very little chance of success), she is in very bad terms with her stepmother and her father and she is still recovering from the disappearance of her mother and another person, whom she loved immensely but who died 4 years ago of the same disease as she has.
