Maeve Troiduair

Maeve came from humble beginnings, having grown up an urchin in the midst of a brutal war, but she would come to make a name for herself in the province of Murias for not only her fighting prowess, but how she chose to use it: Not for glory, nor personal gain, but for the little people left behind in the chaos of war. Whether she is retrieving stolen goods from bandits or helping the King of the Unseelie keep the promises his court made to the people, Maeve is well known among the peasantry as a protector of those who cannot protect themselves; beloved for her kindness, fortitude, and willingness to jump into the fray.

However... there is a murkier side to her reputation as well. It is no secret that Maeve played a huge part in turning the side of the final confrontation between the Seelie and the Unseelie, and the results were... bloody. Some claim that in the fight's final hours, Maeve sprouted wings and descended upon the field with such fury that none who stood in her path stood for long. Perhaps this is why some call her the Morrigan.
