Veteran Angel Soldiers (上級天使兵, Jōkyū Tenshi Hei) is a group of angelic soldiers, a step-up from normal Angel Soldiers as they wield bows and swords. However, Luka doesn’t directly fight them outside of scripted events.
They first appear accompanying Chamael, Granael and Runael in Sealed Sinner’s Prison, ambushing Luka and Alice.

However, Alice’s interference with the prison inadvertently releases Heinrich’s soul, who proceeds to mow down the angels, much to their shock.
Later, the Veteran Angel Soldiers join the rest of Ilias’ forces in attacking the world a second time. However, due to the Four Heavenly Knights altering the Four Towers to weaken the angels, the humans and monsters are capable of hitting the angel soldiers, much to their shock.
