The next head of the Bernstein house, descendants of the Sylph. An honest, fair and calm person. With the pride and determination of a noble, he believes those with power should aid those who don’t share the same privilege.

He always addresses people politely no matter who it is, and dislikes conflict. He has a deep respect, and is very loyal to the Queen, but he’s against the discrimination of the mingles.

"Even if I were no longer Edward Bernstein, cut off from my family and duties, I would still love the wind."

He protects the anxious citizens, and keeps the peace by driving out wing hunters. To help him accomplish more, our protagonist becomes involved in aiding Eden, where the lower class lives. She uses this opportunity to become closer to him.

As she watches the always kind, always honest Edward be troubled by the country’s rampant discrimination and his conflicts with his father, she slowly begins to reveal her heart to him...
