Maria

Maria was given up at 7 months old to an orphanage until age 18. This shaped a lot of her life. She learned all sorts of skills and knowledge, all by the age of 13, also doing her own makeup and hair, yet was never adopted. Finally, at 18, she was offered an adoption with the condition she attend college, free of charge. She rejected it, but the foster home would no longer support her so she took the college offer. She aced every class and majored in sociology and psychology. She graduated shortly before moving into the hotel, currently age 21.

She was very popular in both school and college. She got along with Ashley, was head cheerleader, and discovered her bisexuality at 17. Her popularity and looks attracted many admirers - she had 5 boyfriends before the player. However, none were interested in her as a person, only attracted physically. Chasing attention and validation, she delved into streaming, where she had hundreds, later thousands, of viewers. It was only shortly after meeting the player character she came to know real love.
