The Shiki is the leading family among the Seven. They own assets that isolate them from other families and have a solid connection to the mainland, thus holding the village's actual power. Currently facing a succession issue, they decide to welcome Yasaka Kurou into their fold.

四 (Shi): This kanji means "four." It represents the number four and is often associated with completeness or universality in many cultures, given the four directions, four seasons, etc.
季 (Ki): This kanji means "seasons." It denotes the year's divisions: spring, summer, fall, and winter.
