Currently residing alone in his spacious mansion after outliving his wife and seeing his children off to independence, Rokurou is a celebrated and trusted local dignitary, cherished for his gentle nature and open-hearted approach to outsiders. He shows unusual enthusiasm when it comes to the town's traditional festival.

Rokurou is familiar with the 'Koyoukan' in the mountains and that Rosemary regularly stops by his mansion.
