Valeri Chernov

"This is a castle..?"

No one would ever accuse Valeri of being intelligent. as he demonstrates a consistent lack of awareness both in regard to the situation and in general. His behavior and way of speaking can often come across as immature, and he is easily entertained by childish things such as simple games.

While he isn't a harsh or angry person overall, he can occasionally get grumpy, growing crabby in short spans though not for any particular reason or due to any significant cause. Furthermore, he shows that he is at times distrustful of those around him, out of personal dislike more so than anything logical or based on any meaningful suspicion.

He is not largely defined by the above qualities, however, and, in contrast. expresses a deep sense of love and care for those he does like, especially Kostya.
