Masuhana is the oldest veteran in the Special Investigation Department. He previously served in the Maritime Self-Defense Forces as the Commander of Artillery Weapons, making him an expert in torpedoes and other maritime weaponry, as well as being well-versed in heavy weaponry on land. Masuhana despises unnecessary trouble. Although he often refers to himself as an "old man," he's skilled in various sports and maintains a well-trained physique. He has never commented on the ring he wears on his left ring finger.
