While still a medical student, he worked as a combat medic in conflict zones overseas, and during that time, also took on work as an assassin.
Seeking atonement, he now wishes to save as many lives as possible, and currently works as a physician at Shinjuku Central Hospital.
His goals are to awaken Kanabe Michiru from their comatose state and to heal the world.
He has a bad drinking habit, and when drunk, he becomes rowdy and starts speaking in a rough, old-school Edo-style dialect.
