Hasebe Masaaki

The protagonist. Second-year student at Ayatsuji University.

Invited by his classmate, Haibara Ao, he ends up taking a summer job as a servant at the mansion of the Hinomori family, a wealthy landowner outside the city. However, during his time there, he accidentally breaks an expensive item worth hundreds of millions of yen, saddling him with a huge bill.

However, the head of the family, Hinomori Kohaku, proposes a peculiar game, which forces him to make every effort to have the debt canceled.
