Naiomi Danjuma

Stone turrets reach towards the heavens like the outstretched branches of ancient trees. A glass-steel titan dances with the clouds above the urban skyline. Tiled corridors echo with the whispers of time, as civilizations long destroyed are revived in ink and canvas. All of these, and more, are worlds borne from the menagerie of Naiomi's mind.

Naiomi's architectural designs are a fusion of diverse cultural influences, drawing notably from the Japanese Shinden-zukuri style and its resonance with the natural world. Her work miraculously captured the attention of Japanese designers, who were impressed by her talent and humbled by the unexpected embrace of their cultural heritage in distant corners of the world.

Naiomi was encouraged to apply to Bitokukawa, where she could refine her unique style with the help of seasoned experts in Japanese architecture. Her fluency in Japanese, achieved in remarkably short time, made this endeavor all the more attainable. Upon graduation, her first goal is to design a world-class Japanese art gallery.
