Oosugi Harumitsu

He is one of a group of eight childhood friends centered around Yoshiya.
He is a typical go-getter with mediocre talent and personality among his friends who are all unique in various ways, but Harumitsu never loses his mediocre sensibility and therefore functions as a mood-maker at the party.
He has been in love with Syouko since he first entered the school, and has repeatedly made advances toward her over the past year, but has yet to receive a favorable response because he has yet to fulfill her condition that he read all of Soseki Natsume's works so that he can memorize them by heart.
