However, he has mysteriously vanished, and only a few at Iris Corp. know the truth. Technically, it's not a disappearance, but a "leave of absence." His friends continue to believe in his return. After all, he plays a critical role in keeping the world looping. A loop designed to end the loop... how ironic.

Even without him, Director Shiina and his protégé Mai are doing well as programmers, so development hasn't suffered too much. Though that's kind of sad in its own way, haha!

Sayaka will likely encounter him near the story's climax.
