A university student researching insect, especially butterfly, ecology.

After hearing about a butterfly in a mountain village in K district from a professor, he goes there to study it. Though he has a healthy constitution, he's assaulted by dizziness and a summer cold there, where he ends up in the care of Rihito and Tsukito.
