Anneliese Eleonore von Rosenheim

Anneliese Eleonore von Rosenheim — or Elise to those closest to her — is an heiress 13th in the line of succession to the Frontier House — Rosenheim. A younger niece of House Matriarch Duchess Amelia von Rosenheim, Elise is a noble scion of little renown.

Adventurous and rebellious even from a young age, Elise cared little for her noble status and duties. Instead, the young girl would often venture outside the Ducal estate to explore the beautiful wilderness of planet Rosenheim. Knowing she was far down the line of succession; Elise took advantage of the leeway this granted her, and indulged her youthful exuberance, defying the expectations of her status.

Despite her rebellious behaviour, Elise’s honesty and kind-heartedness made her well-liked and spoiled by others on the estate. Not long after reaching adulthood, Elise joined the Imperial Navy in hope of adventure and to see more of the wide and diverse Empire. Graduating at the top of her class, Elise was eager to undergo special forces training but was met with repeated rejections. She was eventually assigned pilot duty, flying freighters between the Core worlds.

A year and a half since the Day of Infamy, Elise was assigned to SOS Nu as a combat specialist.

Elise was trained since childhood to join the Palace Guards of Rosenheim — the elite armed unit of the frontier world. Contrasting her appearance and outward personality, the young maiden of the frontier is a prodigy in both close-quarters and ranged combat. To further augment her success, Elise freely uses her disarming appearance to catch her opponents off guard, displaying a talent for the mischievous or even devious.

Contrary to her Navy records, Elise took part in a battle against the Rebels during the Day of Infamy attacks. Taking charge of the situation, Elise led the desperate defence against overwhelming numbers of assailants, holding out in a hangar until the day was finally won. Lady Amelia von Rosenheim made sure no one in the Navy would have records of it.

Torn between her personal desire for freedom and her duty and loyalty to her aunt, Elise has struggled with finding the right path for herself to tread.
