Safiya Ranya Luce

Safiya of House Luce, Galiena, is the younger sister to the popular Lord Raza Luce. When the young candidate for Lord Tribune of Galiena was killed during a hostage incident, Safiya assumed the title of Matriarch of House Luce and inherited her brother's election campaign.

Aided by her ever-loyal retainer Aria, Safiya has established a web of mostly small-time gangs and other criminal elements across the Empire. With it, Safiya has hoarded a vast collection of critical intelligence of her rivals, anticipating that a day would come where her dishonourable actions would prove invaluable to her family.

However, Safiya's criminal network has made her unpopular both within and without her own house. Seeking to salvage the once all but certain election victory, her own family's loyal aides and subjects have alienated Safiya and removed her from her rightful inheritance in all but name. Despite that, the steadfast exile is determined to see her late father's and brother's lifelong plan to fruition.

Upon discovering the nature and possibly conspiracy behind the incident that saw her brother slain, Safiya used up all that she has acquired from her vast network of underground dealings to trade her way into SOS Nu, seeking the sole survivor of that tragic day.

House Luce have been building towards winning the election and becoming the Ruling House of Galiena for generations. Everything was set for Raza to finally achieve their goal. As part of the plan, Safiya was given the responsiblity to perform deeds outside the law in order to gain as much advantage for House Luce as possible without sullying her brother's reputation and chance at victory. With Raza dead, Safiya must now win the election despite the complete collapse of the House's plan.
