Julia's mortal friend, stylist, and confidante.
Dakota comes from a wealthy household and thinks of herself as artistically driven, despite recently mostly sticking to monotonous contracted work.

She thinks of herself as the Sun to Julia's Moon, which carries over to her appearance and the "opposites attract" vibe of their relationship. She's also an optimist who carries herself with a natural, free-spirited magnetism and self-assured confidence a counterpoint to Julia's constant pessimism.

While such close contacts with kine are frowned upon by the Camarilla, Julia's and Dakota's relationship is tolerated, if not encouraged. After all, it can be used as grounds for coercion
