Aoyagi Iwao

Yoshino's husband and father of Miyako. While his wife disapproves of Shinji, Iwao is very accepting of Shinji and approves of his daugher dating him. He is unaware of his wife's plan to break up Shinji and Miyako and is unaware that she is having an affair with Shinji to make him break up with Miyako.
