Nanba Chitose

A childhood friend who lives next door to Ryuji's house, they are so close that Chitose takes advantage of the fact that their rooms are close to each other and climbs in through the window every morning to wake him up.

Although Ryuji himself is unaware of it, she has had feelings for Ryuji for a long time and looks after him in place of her mother, who is often away from home.

Although she can be a bit of a nag, she is good at all kinds of housework, and Ryuji thinks that "she's basically a caring woman," but Chitose herself is not particularly caring, and she has yet to realize that she is only looking after Ryuji because of him.
