Asaka Tamaki

She is the daughter of Kanizo, a sushi restaurant owner in Hakata, and the eldest of five siblings.

Perhaps because she was always running around playing with her brothers and friends, she has a bold personality. She even secretly wears a loincloth, perhaps due to the influence of the festivals she participated in as a child.

However, despite her seemingly manly personality, she actually has some girlish hobbies, though she doesn't show them in public. Perhaps because she devours her sister's shojo manga, she dreams of one day meeting a wonderful, prince-like man, marrying him, and taking over Kanizo together.

Since she regularly helps out with running the restaurant, her sushi skills are quite impressive, even acknowledged by her father. While on a family trip, she and her father get separated from the family after taking the wrong train and end up heading to Tokyo at the Matsuba sushi bar.
