Kohiyama Yuuto

A second-year high school student at Seigetsu Private Academy. He loves the stars, and is an obstinate and logical person. Showing no interest in anything other than the stars, Yuuto is a stubborn quibbler. He doesn't do what others tell him to and doesn't mix well with his peers, so he's left to put up a front by saying he "likes being alone". He doesn't realise that he has a somewhat lonely side to him.

Haruho meets Yuuto when she was in her first year of junior high school. She approached Yuuto during break time when she saw him reading an astronomical photography book. She seriously listened to what he had to say about the stars. From that point on, she talked about and observed the stars with Yuuto.
