Tamaki Maiko

The protagonist's childhood friend. She is a lively 2nd year high school student who is bad at kanji and tying shoelaces, who loves strawberry milk and ice cream, and who puts her all into having fun yet sleeps like a log through classes. She starts working part-time without telling her parents, and on top of that the threat of repeating a year is looming over her; just how will the protagonist handle this?
