Minase Itsuki

"I'm so glad I got to see you again..."

One letter. Kazama Akira and Itsuki have parted once before. When they said farewell, she gave him a letter. Inside, there was one apology and one wish - "can I really make her wish come true?"

Itsuki is a soft-spoken girl that usually blames herself even for slightest mistakes. As a result Sayo often acts as her elder sister even though they were born at the same time as twins. She is often seen daydreaming or gazing at the stars in the night sky. She also likes to read doujinshi while ignoring everyone around her completely.

In reality, Itsuki was already dead prior to the present-day events in the game. She was killed by her father in an attempt to hide the witness to her mother's death (who was also killed by him). Her father attacked her with a shovel at the back of her head and buried both of them in the ground inside the forest behind the shrine. Because her soul didn't get carried away by a shinigami, she was trapped in the living world waiting for Akira's return several years later. Her reuniting with him released her from the world's bound and her soul was finally able to depart to the afterworld.
