Laura

The protagonist of the story. She considers herself rather plain and struggles to find her place and what she actually wants in life. She follows the choices of her friends and does the things one is expected to do. Everyone seems to have a boyfriend, thus she winds up having one too. The girls around her start caring about makeup, and looking pretty and she begins to as well.
