Asagiri Mariko

A relative of the protagonist's father. She used to run a kimono dressing school in Tokyo, but was forced to move out due to redevelopment, so she relies on the protagonist's father to live in the main Asagiri family house in a remote area.

For some reason, she is very happy to see the protagonist, whom she used to play with when he was little, and her maternal instincts overflow when she is in his presence. It is so much so that the protagonist, who has no biological mother, wonders, "Was my mother like this?".
