Hoshina Shuuji

Shuuji is an average student who lives with his father. He has the power to read other's states of emotion through his five senses, causing him to pay close attention to other's feelings despite his outer appearance. Because of his reliance on his powers, he's bad at communicating normally, and establishing close relationships.

Due to his special powers, he was alienated and became a loner. In his current school, he only has two friends, but is also a known pushover who can never say 'no', due to the physical pain he feels when rejecting others and his fear of being ostracized again. A running gag with friends and family is that he has deadfish eyes because of how detached he had become from others.
