Rin's childhood friend and classmate.
Kaede's mother passed away in the same accident that claimed both Rin's parents; they've lived under the same roof since then.

She is an ideal woman—brilliant, athletic, attractive, and capable in the home—and one-third of the male students at her school worship her. Still, she prioritizes Rin over and above herself.

Kaede was crowned "Miss Verbena" at last year's cultural festival. Furthermore, after the arrival of the devil and god princesses, Sia and Nerine, she has also taken on the title of "Princess of the Human World."
