Based on Xuanzang, who was a Chinese Buddhist monk, scholar, traveller, and translator who described the interaction between China and India in the early Tang Dynasty. Born in what is now Henan province around 602, from boyhood he took to reading religious books, including the Chinese classics and the writings of ancient sages. He became famous for his seventeen-year overland journey to India, which is recorded in detail in the classic Chinese text Great Tang Records on the Western Regions.
A Buddhist priest who punishes the evil and savors the joy of preaching. Accompanied by Goku, she travels around in order to save India, the country controlled by immorality.
Many a time does she rush to a conclusion and discipline innocent citizens. When she first meets the main character, she decides to call him "Hakkai" and forces him to let her join the Zipang army.
