Doujima Ryoutarou

Ryotaro is Nanako's father and Yu's uncle who takes care of him during his stay in Inaba. He is a very hardworking detective who had problems with Nanako before, not completely understanding the meaning behind the word 'family' and just focusing on chasing the murderer of his late wife, Chisato.

Ryotaro is a kind man, though a bit serious as well. He tends to be a bit overprotective of Nanako sometimes, which could be due to the fact that his wife died in a hit-and-run. However, he is an all-around good father and cares deeply for both Nanako and Yu.
