Member of Kanto's project 47's "Team Happy" who is ranked 88th between all of the project 47's idols. A veteran idol with 10 years of experience, she is one of the initial members back when project 47 was formed. Mariko is a kind and reliable woman who is treated like an older sister by her juniors even to the point where she is called "Mari-nee". Despite all this, Mariko has been quite unlucky with her career, and participating in D.o.D will be her final chance to promote and make a name out of herself.
