Sawai Ayako

A wife of Professor Takuma Sawai, and Maya's mother. Ayako could obtain a large sum of money when a Mifuyu line of robots, created under license of her husband, was launched into mass production. But she refused, believing that this money are covered with blood of her husband. However, she had to work a lot to support her family. She fell ill due to constant overwork and became bedridden. All the chores concerning a sick mother and little brother had fallen on the shoulders of Maya.
