Hikawa Ritsuko

She is the protagonist's boss, a librarian at the library where the protagonist works. She tends to be harsh on people who don't follow the rules and take them for granted. She is too serious and inflexible.

Her son, Reon, who is in his third year of high school, but he failed the entrance exam to the same school as the protagonist.

Until recently, she and the protagonist's step mother got along reasonably well, but after he successfully passed the entrance exam, she became jealous of her.

Her husband is an executive at an advertising agency and rarely comes home. She serves as the head of the condominium association.
