Leona

The mysterious girl who appears before the newly ennobled Siegfried Maired and offers to help him with the management of his new fiefdom in exchange for marriage and official status as the feudal lord's wife. She is well-versed in the ways of the nobility and frequently lectures Siegfried on his roles and responsibilities as a baron. Marriage is a transaction for Leona and she gives Siegfried permission to sleep with other women for release of his sexual desires and to sire heirs to continue the family lineage. On the other hand she refuses to sleep with Siegfried as her role in managing the fief is critical and she can't run around when heavily pregnant.

Her true name is Alfreya Lesbel, the daughter of the earl who ruled over the lands now entrusted to Siegfried. She was sheltered by another family when her father's lands were seized and learnt her craft after returning to her birthplace three years prior to Siegfried's arrival. She proposed marriage to Siegfried after discovering he knew nothing about feudal management in order to continue her work at his side; all for the sake of preventing the fief from collapsing under mismanagement.

She harbours a homicidal hatred of thieves in her demesne.
