A student from Byakudan Senior High School's class 2-4, one of the most popular students in the school and Kurosaki's childhood friend. Yuuya is a mysterious but a somewhat protective, charismatic and strong ally, and immediately promises to protect Yuka when they meet for the first time in Heavenly Host. Yuuya appears sophisticated and classy with his Japanese pronouns, language, and manners, though occasionally coming across as somewhat blunt and apathetic; he hides his true self under this facade. He is also a bit of a loner.
