Sakuragibashi Rito

A girl who learned how to live alone after her parents moved overseas for work. She is the protagonist's childhood friend and classmate, sitting next to him in class. In his memories, she was a boy, leading to a misunderstanding that resulted in him being kicked out of her house when he asked to stay the night on his first day back in town.

Due to her parents' absence, she developed a strong sense of independence and became skilled at housework and her studies. Despite their sour reunion, she begrudgingly allows the protagonist to stay, pressured by their mutual childhood friends. However, this doesn't stop her from giving him the cold shoulder and frequent death stares.

Her prolonged isolation has made her yearn for human contact, leading to an obsession with holding the protagonist's hand—whether at school, while sleeping, or even when it's someone else's turn. She becomes so attached that she experiences withdrawal symptoms if she goes too long without holding his hand.
